School year 2012-2013

Creative Dramatics

Level I - K and 1st graders and Level II - 2nd and 3rd graders

Creative Drama offers our youngest students a chance to explore and express ideas and feelings though dramatic enactment. The children will experiment with movement, voice, and acting in guided activities and theatre games. They will dig into the elements of a story, have fun with improvisation, and learn how to be someone else! This process aids students in language development, communication skills, and creativity, as well as building self-esteem, empathy, and group co-operation. Creative Drama classes are designed for beginning and returning student and cover new material each session.
